Tried to sell 500 FAZ @8.90 just before close, but did not succeed. Also tried to buy 1,000 FAS @ 7.60 without success.

Value increase for the week was a small $180 - not bad, but not great either.

04/30/09

Sold 500 FAZ @ 8.33 just before close. Took a small profit (0.43/unit), because things are very unpredictable these days. If it gaps up tomorrow morning, then the remaining 500 will be good enough, otherwise, if gap down, then will have to wait for better times. If it goes down all the way to 7.50, I might buy back the 500 units.

Also possible FAS may go close to 7.00, in which case, I'll buy 1,000 units.

Loly's birthday today - had to spend it with her. Unable to watch market - no trades today. FAZ closed $1.07 down - should have sold premarket, but unable to pull trigger. Alternatively, could have preserved gain by buying approximately same amount of FAS, but was also gun-shy. Will just have to wait this one out.

FAZ closed @ 9.27, FAS @7.44. FAZ up another 0.37. Hoping for 10.13 tomorrow.

FAZ closed @ $8.90 today, 04/27/09. Up $1.00/unit thus far. If it gets to $10.13/unit within the next 2 days, I might sell all units, then buy FAS which should be at the low point, about $6.52, from its $7.75 close today.

Friday, 4/24/09, bought 1000 FAZ @ 7.90, believing this to be bottom for FAZ. Expecting financials still have a lot of unbooked losses from derivatives.

01/13/09 Status

DXD, DXO, EGLE, ERX and TNA all closed green today.

Still have 1,981 cash avail to invest. Look at SKF? Expecting JPM will pull financials down.

If $INDU tests Dec29 low of 8,364 tomorrow, might sell DXD @ 58.87; and then buy DDM @29.07.

Looking to dispose of ERX for a small loss - cost = 50 sh @ 49, closed today @ 37.87.

Will wait for EGLE to turn a profit.

TNA too.
